BUDGAM, JULY 15: Arrangements for
ensuing four day Urs of Hazrat Syed Saleah (RA) to be observed
from July 21 to 24 at Khansahib were finalized today in a meeting
chaired by District Development Commissioner Budgam convened at Town Hall
Khansahib.
The
meeting was also attended by SDM Khansahib, Chairman Auqaf Committee Syed
Saleah Trust, Tehsildar and other concerned officers besides prominent
citizens.
The meeting was
told that availability of drinking water, round the clock, power supply during
Urs days, adequate supply of rations, LPG, K-Oil, Sugar, hassle free transport
facilities, healthcare arrangements shall be provided to the people living in
the area besides sanitation of the town particularly the shrine and its
surroundings shall also be considered on priority. The meeting was further
informed that adequate security arrangements shall be made in order to maintain
law and order situation in the area.
The DDC
was assured by all concerned that pro-active measures have been initiated to
provide all basic requirements to the devotees as well as local visitors during
these days and there will no shortage of any basic amenity.
