I-Day arrangements reviewed at Ramban

       RAMBAN, July 22- Additional District Development Commissioner Ramban, Ravinder Nath    Sadhu today chaired a meeting of district officers to discuss the arrangements for celebration of Independence Day.

 ADC,  Angrez Singh , PO, ICDS Ashok Pandita,  ACR   Vevaik Puri,   CEO, Dy.CMO,  Army Officers Executive Engineers of PHE, PDD,  ACD , Officers of IRP, Traffic Police, District Youth Services and Sports, Principals of Government Schools and Heads of the Private Educational Institutions besides representatives of NGOs attended the meeting.        

After discussing the arrangements threadbare, it was decided that the main function will be held in the premises of District Police Line Ground, at Chandrog where the VIP would unfurl the National Flag and take salute from the march past contingents comprising Jammu and Kashmir Police, IRP,   CRPF,   Forest Protection Force, NCC and school children.

The ADDC directed all the officers to actively participate in the programme to make the celebration a big success. The issues regarding security, seating arrangements, drinking water and electricity supply, barricading, full dress rehearsal, traffic regulation, refreshment for the students after the rehearsal and main function, Transport facility for students and illumination of the venue and offices, medical facility, sanitation and other emergency arrangements were also discussed.

The ADDC also constituted various monitoring committees for       cultural programme and identification of meritorious students in different fields. He also instructed the team members to work with coordination for smooth performance.
