'Jagga Jasoos' earns Rs 33.17 cr in opening weekend

New Delhi, July 17 :  After a lukewarm response on its opening day, the Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Jagga Jasoos' picked up pace during the weekend, earning Rs 33.17 crore in its opening week, trade sources said. After collections of RS 8.57 crore on its opening day, the collections of 'Jagga Jasoos' jumped to Rs 11.53 crore on Saturday and Rs 13.07 crore on Sunday, taking its total earnings during the opening weekend to Rs 33.17 crore. Trade sources said the film is among the top ten grossers in the opening weekend. It stands at the 7th position in the list, ahead of 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' and 'Naam Shabana' which had opening weekend figures of Rs 28.05 crore and Rs 18.76 crore respectively. Directed by Anurag Basu, 'Jagga Jasoos' released across the country on July 14. UNI
