Man arrested for murdering his friend

Kangra, Jul 15 :  Autopsy report of a 27 migrant labourer who had died under mysterious circumstance in Tanda medical college this week indicated that he had died of strangulation, police said today. Sub Divisional Police officer Dehra ML Sharma told  that Ram Lal friend of the victim Tinkoo Ram was arrested for allegedly murdering his friend. SDPO said that on the fateful evening the victim Tinkoo Ram and his friend accused Ram Lal both residents of Bihar had
drinks at Dadaseba together. SDPO said that when the accused Ram Lal reached home the victim also arrived there and started allegedly teasing the wife of the accused.

He said that Ram Lal strangulated the victim in a fit of anger and when victim turned unconscious the accused Ram Lal and his wife took him to Dada Seba hospital and then to Tanda Medical college where he died. Ram Lal in the beginning told the police that he heard the cries of the victim and rushed there and found him unconscious and took him to the hospital. SDPO said that the accused confessed the crime and arrested Ram Lal under section 302 IPC and the investigation was in progress. UNI
