Sanctions-Rs-17-lakh-for-development-works
RAMBAN,
AUGUST 17: Member Legislative Assembly,
Neelam Kumar Langeh, today inaugurated newly renovated water filtration plant
at Batote besides laying foundation stone for Multipurpose Hall at Government
Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Batate.
The MLA also inaugurated
additional classrooms, smart classroom at Government Middle School (GMS),
Thopal, a boundary wall and a smart class room at Government Girls High School
(GGHS) Batote and 4 lanes in the Municipal Committee area Batote.
The MLA also convened a meeting
with the officers of various departments and citizens to review the development
works being executed in the area besides discussing public issues.
Responding to demands of
public, the MLA sanctioned Rs.5 lakh for multipurpose hall at GHSSB in addition
to the Rs.5 lakh already sanctioned for it under his CDF, Rs.10 lakh for the
Community Hall at Thopal and Rs.2 lakh for the modernization of GGHSB.
He also sanctioned 50 desks for
the GMS Thopal and 60 desks for the GGHS Batote and assured public for
endorsing their demand to government for establishing a Government Degree
College at Batote.
He directed the EO, MC to ensure the quality of development works being done in
the town and directed heads of the school's to intensify Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
in their schools.
Later, a colorful cultural
programmes was presented by the students.
SE, PHE, XEn, PHE, CEO, ZEO,
Executive Officer (EO), Municipal Committee (MC), and Principal, GHSSB, were
present on the occasion.
