New Delhi, Aug 2 : The Supreme Court today reserved its verdict over the issue of whether right to privacy has fundamental Constitutional sanctity. Headed by Chief Justice of India Jagdish Singh Khehar, the nine-judge Constitution bench kept in abeyance its judgement, after hearing in great detail submissions from various petitioners, respondents and the Centre. Top law officer of the Centre, KK Venugopal, represented the Union of India in the privacy matter before the apex court. Justices Rohinton Fali Nariman, Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Abhay Manohar Sapre, DY Chandrachud, S Abdul Nazeer, S A Bobde, R K Agarwal and Jasti Chelameshwar were also on the Constitution bench, who heard the arguments in the Aadhar privacy issue from various parties.
