Bullet-riddled body of youth recovered in Shopian

Srinagar, Aug 20 : Bullet-riddled body of a 16-year-old youth was recovered from an orchard in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said here today. They said panic gripped Urpara village of Nagbal in Shopian when locals saw the body of a youth lying in an orchard. The locals immediately informed the police, they said, adding a team was rushed to the spot and the body was taken away. The deceased was later identified as Gowhar Ahmad, a resident of Urpara village. After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites, they added. UNI
