Excise Deptt organizes awareness program on drug abuse

        
  SRINAGAR, AUGUST 30: Department of Excise today organized one-day awareness programme-cum workshop regarding harmful effects of drug abuse at National Institute of Technology Hazratbal.

          Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Kashmir and Officers of Excise Department along with the students of the institute attended the workshop. During the seminar, the students and parents were informed about harmful effects of drug abuse. Besides, the gathering was also addressed by reputed educationists and doctors working in the State on the drug addiction.

          The Excise Department intends to hold a number of such programmes in various Schools/ collages of the valley in the coming days.
