Puducherry, Aug 24: Puducherry Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) bus operations came to a standstill as the crew resorted to a flash strike today to press their demands. They were demanding action against a private broker who allegedly assaulted the driver and conductor of a PRTC bus, provision of special medical leave and adequate compensation to the affected and seizure of private buses plying between bus stand and Gorimedu without permit among other things. Authorities held talks with them to find an amicable settlement to their issues. UNI
