KARNAH, AUGUST
05: Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah today convened a meeting to review the
preparedness for ensuing Independence Day celebrations in the sub division.
The meeting held a threadbare discussion on arrangements being put in
place by the Tehsil administration for smooth conduct of the Celebrations at
the Tehsil headquarters.
It was decided that the function will be held at Tehsil headquarter wherein the
chief guest will host the flag ceremony and march past by the contingents of
JKP, NCC cadets and school children of the sub-division will participate in
colorful programmes.
The
SDM was informed that uninterrupted drinking water and power supply will be
provided at the venue during the rehearsal and main function day at the
prescribed location on the occasion.
The SDM constituted a team of officers to oversee the preparedness at all
levels for the smooth and successful conduct of the events of Independence Day
celebrations.
