POONCH,
SEPTEMBER 01: Deputy Commissioner, Tariq Ahamad Zargar today held a Public Grievance
Redressal Camp at Mendhar and took stock of the problems and demands of the
people.
Sub
Divisional Magistrate Mendhar, Rahul Yadav, ASP Masroor Ahamad Mir, ACD Zubair
Shah, Executive Engineers of PMGSY,PWD,PHE,PDD CEO, CMO, District Animal
Husbandry Officer, Chief Horticulture & Agriculture Officer, DPO, ARTO AD FCS
&CA and other tehsil & block level officers were also present on the
occasion.
People from different areas of Mendhar attended the camp and demanded
improvement in road network, augmentation of medical facilities at SDH Mendhar
including posting of adequate numbers of specialist doctors& medical staff,
early completion of major development project including bridges, roads &
mini secretariat building.
Issue
related to sanitation including construction of toilets at bus stand Mendhar,
strengthening of power network, expediting of Aaadhar enrolements & release
of MGNREGA wages were also raised.
Speaking
on the occasion, DC said, that holding such camps aim at on spot redressal of
the public issues besides taking first hand information/ feedback regarding
transparent & effective implementation of various welfare schemes of
government in the region.
He assured the people that all their
genuine demands will be looked into on priority and said that administration is
putting in concerted efforts to develop requisite infrastructure and to provide
all basic facilities to the people.
He informed that DPRs of various roads & other projects of the area
have been prepared and the process of the construction, resurfacing & black
topping of roads would be taken up soon.
He
directed DPO Poonch for the construction of toilet complex at bus stand Mendhar
and Executive Engineer PHE was asked for augmenting infrastructure at Ari to
improve water supply.
Regarding,
LOC shelling & providing safety passages to effected families/areas, Mr.
Zargar informed that the proposal of construction of 30300 community &
individual bankers already stands submitted to government adding that district
administration will starts the construction of at least twenty community
bankers on immediate basis for the relief & safety of the people.
DC also sought the cooperation of
people in implementation of various welfare schemes of government.
People
also appreciated the efforts of administration in holding regular camps &
providing services by issuing different certificates under public service
guarantee Act (PSGA) to the people.
