Awareness campaign by DFP concludes at Mendhar

POONCH, SEPTEMBER 01: The awareness campaign organized by the Poonch and Srinagar units of Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of information and broadcasting at Govt Girls Hr. Sec. School, Mendhar concluded here today.

Vice Chairman Pahari Advisory Board Kuldeep Raj Gupta was Chief Guest and MLA Mendhar Javed Ahmed Rana was guest of honour while Additional Director General R. P Saroj, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, presided over the function.

 Under the mass outreach programme, people from all age groups willing to engage in intellectually stimulating discussions on realities of 2022 under “NAYE BHARAT KA MANTHAN- SANKALP SE SIDDHI” were provided a platform to interact. In the programme awareness was generated on various centrally sponsored schemes viz Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana (APY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana, (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao (BBBP).

          Speaking on the occasion Kuldeep Raj Gupta appreciated the efforts of DFP for spreading awareness in far flung, remote, hilly and backward areas and exhorted the need to reach out to the people for keeping them aware about the welfare schemes.

    On the occasion MLA Javed Ahmed Rana also appreciated the efforts of DFP and urged the gathering to further disseminate the information in their respective localities. He said that better dissemination of information about welfare scheme is vital for their effective implementation.
