'Swachhta hi Sewa'Campaign’
UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 26: District
Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar today laid the foundation stone of
Solid Waste Management Centre at SudhMahadev.

Batallion CRPF Harinder Kumar, SDM Chenani Davinder Sharma, PO DRDA, Dr.
Jagdish Mehra besides other district and block level officers were also present
on the occasion.
Meanwhile, as
a part of the ongoing campaign ' Swachhta Hi Sewa', a cleanliness drive was
also organized at Sudh Mahadev and surrounding areas.
During the
cleanliness drive, the DDC along with SDM Chenani and other officers cleaned
the market area and various religious places like Historic Shiv Temple and
Paapnashini Bowli.
Locals and
traders were made aware about the importance of cleanliness and were asked to
contribute their bit in making their surroundings neat and clean.
The people of
the area also apprised the DDC about the various problems being faced by them
on the occasion.
Earlier, the
DDC also paid a visit to Community Health Centre, Chenani and inspected its
various wards. He also reviewed the various facilities provided by the Health
Centre to the patients.
