Even though there was no strike call by any organization, shops and business establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads in Tral and adjoining areas for the second day today. Work in government offices and banks also remained affected due to the strike.
Educational institutes also wore a deserted look as students preferred to stay away from the schools to mourn the death of the civilians.
However, traffic on Srinagar-Jammu national highway was plying normally though security forces have been deployed in strength to prevent any law and order problem.
Pinky Kour, a resident of Chattrogam and Ghulam Nabi Trag, a resident of Tral-e-Payeen, were killed while 30 others, including seven CRPF jawan and two policemen, were injured in a grenade attack by militants at Bus Stand Tral on Wednesday. UNI
