Cultural programme held at DIET Kulgam

KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 19: A cultural programme ‘Mulaqat’ was today organized by Aharbal Adbi Aagur in collaboration with Cultural Academy at DIET Kulgam in which MLA Kulgam, Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami and renowned poet, historian, linguist and teacher, Naji Munawar attended as special guests.

Different personalities affiliated with culture and languages highlighted the contribution of Naji Munawar in the field of literature and wished him a long life.

MLA Kulgam admired the role of Naji Munawar particularly his contribution in Kashmiri grammar.

President Aharbal Adbi Aagur while highlighting the literary contribution of Naji Munawar said the distinguished poet has authored more than two dozen books and his spirit is still young to nourish the Kashmiri language.

Different cultural programmes were held on the occasion. Besides, a mushaira was also held where different poets read their poetic collections.

The function was attended by CEO, Principal DIET, DIO, ZEOs, poets, media persons and a good number of students.
