POONCH SEPTEMBER 16: District Panchayat Officer, Dr.Majid Jahngir, along with officials of
Rural Development Department and officials of Municipality today started
awareness cum cleanliness drive at Government Boys
Higher Secondary School.
On the occasion, pledge were taken by all participants on maintaining
cleanliness under "Swachhta Hi Sewa Hai".
Pertinent to mention here that district administration has already
issued a calendar of activities under this fortnight cleanliness drive “Swachhta
hi Sewa Hai" from 15th of September to 2nd of October 2017.

enlightened in length on this cleanliness drive Swatch Bharat mission (SBM) and
asked all the students and teachers of the institution to play their part in
maintaining cleanliness in schools premises.
During the awareness program, other speakers also spoke and laid thrust
on community mobilizations by disseminating awareness to others on Swach Bharat
Mission, plantation in schools and surroundings, say no to
polythene use etc.
