PULWAMA, September 23: District Development Commissioner, Ghulam Mohammad Dar along with district officials today conducted an Awami Durbar at Bamnoo village to listen and speedily redress the public grievances of the people of the district.
The Durbar received an overwhelming response a large number of respectable citizens from many areas of the adjacent village coming forward with their grievances, demands and suggestions.
The main demands presented before the DDC included declaration of Bamnoo as a separate revenue village, supply of adequate water supply, up-gradation from Middle school to Higher secondary school, establishment of health dispensary, veterinary unit, separate horticulture and agricultural zone, setting up of ATM and a play ground in the village, issuance of BPL and labour cards to poor household’s and laborers respectively.
Responding to the demands of the people, the DDC assured the people that village Bamnoo will be declared a separate revenue village in the near future. The officers of the CAPD department were directed to include the poor households of the village in BPL category. Exn PHE was directed to provide a separate water connection for the village Bamnoo. He said that other demands will be sympathetically looked into also.

The durbar was attended by ADC Pulwama , CPO pulwama, ACD, ACR, CEO, CMO and other district officers.
