RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 16: The
district administration today ordered a blanket ban on the parking of vehicles
in the premises of old district hospital complex owing to construction work of
GNM school.
In a communication addressed to district development commissioner the
executive engineer Police Housing Corporation intimidated that the work on the
mega project of General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) School could not be
started as large number of vehicles remain parked in the said complex.
To ensure timely completion of this crucial project, the DDC ordered the
Chief Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent to ensure that no vehicle of
any health official or private person is parked inside the complex to
facilitate the concerned agency to carry out the construction work.
DDC, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, informed that mandate of GNM school, coming
up at Rs. 5 crore, is to prepare qualified General Nurses who will function as
member of a Health Team beginning with consultancies for first level position
in both Hospital and community Health Services especially in Rural areas.
