BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 13: The District
Development Commissioner Budgam, Muhammad Haroon, today chaired a meeting,
convened in order to review the preparation for sanitation campaign ‘’Swachita
Hi Seva” to be launched from September 15, 2017 to October 02,
2017 in all rural and urban areas of the District.
As part of the programme the activities and other Swachta events will
run throughout the fortnight. The Nodal officer and Coordinator of the
Campaign, DPO Budgam in detail briefed the meeting about preparations and
activities which will be carried out throughout the fortnight in making the
campaign a success.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC urged upon the concerned stake
holders to draw upon firm action plan highlighting daily calendar of activities
starting from September 15, 2017.
He said there should be involvement of municipal bodies, Rural
development Department, Police Department, Education Department, Social
welfare, Banks operating in the District, besides local citizens etc. to
achieve the milestone in stipulated time.
