Srinagar,
Sept 28: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah has termed
‘abominable’, the killing of a Border Security Force jawan, who was on
vacation, by militants in north Kashmir district of Bandipora late last night.
“What a terrible incident. This is abominable. Heartfelt condolences to the
family of Rameez Parrey. Hope the injured recover soon,” Mr Abdullah, who is
the working president of National Conference, wrote on micro-blogging site
twitter. Official sources said militants entered the house of Rameez Ahmad
Parray at Hajin in Bandipora late last night and resorted to indiscriminate
firing with automatic weapons. Parray, who was posted in Rajasthan, died on the
spot while three of his family members were injured in the attack. UNI
