Kothagudem (Telangana), Sept 21: Police and the Ramanna Dalam of the
banned CPI-ML(New Democracy) exchanged fire at Siddaram forest area in
Tekulapalli mandal in the wee hours in the district today. However, the police
have not confirmed any casualties so far in the firing. Police parties combing
the forest area ran into the dalam, which was camping in the forest area,
resulting in the exchange of fire, police said. Arms were seized from the
firing spot, police added. UNI
