Srinagar,
Sept 30: Security forces on Saturday launched a search operation in north
Kashmir's Bandipora district, where militants killed a Border Security Force
(BSF) jawan and injured four others at Hajin on September 27 night. Official
sources said the Army, Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir
police and CRPF launched a joint search operation in Hajin following a tip off
about the presence of militants. Security forces sealed all exit points and are
conducting searches, the sources said, adding that so far, no contact has been
established with the militants. BSF jawan Ramzan Parray was killed and his
father, two brothers and aunt were injured in a militant attack in his house at
Parray house Hajin. However, the militants managed to escape under the cover of
darkness after the incident though security forces immediately launched a
search operation. Police said foreign militants of Lashkhar-e-Toiba (LeT) were
involved in the incident. UNI
