He said a tipper hit and critically injured a boy, identified as Rizwan Shah, Gundi Syeda in north Kashmir district of Kupwara. The injured was immediately taken to Sub District Hospital Tangdhar from where he was referred to SMHS, Srinagar.
However, the minor succumbed to his injured at the Srinagar hospital.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
He said two vehicles collided with each other near Toll Post Qazigund on Srinagar-Jammu national highway in south Kashmir, resulting in injuries to three persons. All the injured were hospitalized.
In another incident, a scooty rider and his pillion mate were injured in a road accident at Lal Bazaar in downtown Srinagar. Both the injured were rushed to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS). UNI
