Chennai, Oct 9: Observing that cyber terrorism was another major terror threat facing several countries in the world, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said a specialised wing in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) would be created to conduct regular audits and build capacities to deal with cyber terrorism. Speaking after reviewing the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the CISF Probationers at the CISF Regional Training Centre (RTC) at Arakkonam, about 75 km from here, he also exuded confidence that CISF would be the first force to achieve 33 per cent reservation target for women. Noting that Cyber terrorism was another major terror threat facing several countries in the world, he said cyber terrorists use digital tracks to attack important institutions, buildings and installations. Observing that the CISF needs to upgrade and technologically advance itself to face and counter any incident of cyber terrorism, Mr Rajnath Singh said a specialised Wing in the CISF should be created to conduct regular cyber security audits and build capacities to deal with cyber terrorism.
