BARAMULLA, OCTOBER 13: Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Baramulla
today organised a one-day seminar to provide writers and intellectuals of Punjabi language to
share their experiences and contributions to the language and literature.
Speaking on the occasion, various speakers underlined the importance of
language not only as a means of communicating thoughts and ideas but
also a common thread binding people by transcending physical barriers.
The speakers said that the Punjabi language has vast repositories of
literature and the need of the hour is to bridge the gap between the reader and the
source through proper application of information technology.
