DIC organizes awareness camp at Laiter Bhambla

Youth encouraged to create employment for others

            REASI, OCTOBER 30: District Industrial Center (DIC) Reasi organized an awareness camp at Laiter Bhambla of Tehsil Pouni to disseminate information on employment generation schemes.

          On the occasion ADDC Ramesh Chander was the chief guest.

          The camp was attended by officers and representatives from KVIB, employment, banking sector to educate  people on employment generation schemes being implemented by different departments and the formalities required for processing loan cases for the beneficiaries.   

        ADDC stressed upon banking sector to extend full cooperation in disbursing the loan cases sent by different departments after due approval of the Deputy Commissioner. He said there should be a better synergy between government departments and banks  for speedy disposal of the cases .

          Earlier, GM Anil Thakur informed that near about 100 loan cases  have been sanctioned this year and exhorted upon  the youth to set up their own ventures under DIC or PMEGP not only to earn their livelihood but also to generate employment for others.

          Later, ADDC also met with local people who intend to start their own business and also convened a separate meeting of representatives of the banks operating in the Pouni areas.
