SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 26: The
Deputy Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today
convened a meeting to review functioning of the education sector in Gurez.
During the meeting, various issues pertaining to the development and
upgradation of education facilities in Gurez which include providing of
sufficient staffs, creation of lecturer posts, transfer policy, implementation
of RMSA and SSA, fencing of school premises, and tendering of related
development works were discussed threadbare.
The Deputy Speaker stressed upon the concerned authorities to clear all
bottlenecks for smooth and timely completion of the ongoing works under the
Education sector.
Commissioner Secretary Education Department, Farooq Ahmad Shah, besides
other senior officers of the Department and allied agencies and other
concerned, attended the meeting.
