Farmers’ awareness camp held at Reasi village

REASI, OCTOBER 26: To aware farmers about government schemes and scientific cultivation techniques, Department of Agriculture today organized an awareness camp here at remote  Pattian Thuroo area.

Agriculture staff, experts, field Staff, Horticulture technicians interacted with the farmers.

The officers of the department advised farmers to go for innovative farming for better crop production.

They were told about varied crops and the best methods for achieving maximum produce. Farmers were also educated about PMFBY, KCC, soil sampling, soil health cards and other subsidy related schemes of the department.

Speaking on the occasion, SDAO Anil Kaul, presented a detailed account of the schemes and incentives being provided by the department. He advised the farmers to adopt organic farming for better results.
