JAMMU, OCTOBER 04: Cadet, Shikhi Sambyal of 2 J&K
Bn NCC and student of BSc final year of GCW, Gandhinagar has won first prize in
Essay Writing competition organised for NCC Cadets pan India by Ministry of
Drinking Water and Sanitation on topic “what can I do for clean India”.
The Cadet
was awarded with a memento and cash prize of Rs 51,000 by the Prime Minister on
Oct 2 2017 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
On her return from Delhi, the cadet was invited by the Additional
Director General NCC, J&K Maj Gen Nilendra Kumar at NCC
Directorate J&K for felicitation.
The ADG stated that Cadet Shikhi Sambyal has made J&K proud and
shall remain a motivating figure for the state’s youth in
the days to come.
