Patna,
Oct 16: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today took a pot-shot at RJD
supremo Lalu Prasad for criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the
latter's rejection of according Central University status to Patna University.
Instead Mr Prasad should focus on his work as he has reached the level of
logical conclusion of his misdeeds, Mr Kumar told media persons after 'Lok Samvad',
organised at his official residence. ' There is no need for Mr Prasad to make
any comment on others and instead he should focus on his own work. Mr Prasad
has reached the level of logical conclusion of his misdeeds over a long
period,' he commented. ' So far as the question of demand of Central University
status to Patna University is concerned, it is coming from the people of Bihar
and students of the university, " the chief minister said adding that was
the reason behind the demand for Central University status to Patna University
made by him before the Prime Minister. The demand was made when the PM came
here on October 14 to attend the centenary celebration of Patna University. Mr
Kumar said he had placed the demand before the Prime Minister and it was for
him to accept or reject it. ' What can I do if the Centre is not inclined to
accept a demand which is under its jurisdiction ? ' he remarked. UNI
