Oct 12: Biswa Bangla Sharad Samman will be given away today at Nazrul
Mancha here. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will give away these
awards at a ceremony this evening. Ms Banerjee had instituted these awards
three years ago. Apart from the best community Durga Pujas, the chief minister
also started the Durga Puja Bishorjon Carnival from 2016. The carnival has
become extremely popular across the world. UNI
