KULGAM, OCTOBER 30: Following the publication of the
examination calendar for the HSS-II and SSE of 10th and 12th classes (Annual
Regular), 2017 in the valley with effect from 01
November 2017, the District Magistrate Kulgam and District Magistrate Kupwara
today issued orders imposing restrictions under Sec 144 of CrPC around a radius
of 200 metres from the examination centres.
These instructions were imposed to prevent any obstruction and to
ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.
The restrictions are imposed on
assembly of five or more persons outside all the examination centers within the
radius of 200 metres.
These prohibitory restrictions shall remain in force till the
conclusion of the examinations.
Meanwhile, the District Police in respective districts have been
instructed to implement the instructions in letter and spirit. Besides, all the
Tehsildars & Naib Tehsildars have been designated as Magistrates in their
respective jurisdictions.
