New Delhi, Oct 30: Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni, who is on a visit to India, was given a ceremonial reception at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The visit of Italian Prime Minister - after a gap of decade - is expected to "strengthen and reinvigorate" the bilateral relationship between two countries. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj earlier called on him and both the leaders had an "engaging discussion", MEA spokesman Raveesh Kumar said. "EAM @SushmaSwaraj calls on Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni in New Delhi. Engaging discussion on issues of mutual interest," Mr Kumar tweeted. The visiting dignitary later went to Hyderabad House for a delegation level talk with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others. "Strengthening and reinvigorating our bilateral relationship. PM @narendramodi receives Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni at Hyderabad House," the spokesman tweeted. UNI
