New
Delhi, Oct 30: Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni, who is on a visit
to India, was given a ceremonial reception at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati
Bhavan. The visit of Italian Prime Minister - after a gap of decade - is
expected to "strengthen and reinvigorate" the bilateral relationship
between two countries. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj earlier called
on him and both the leaders had an "engaging discussion", MEA
spokesman Raveesh Kumar said. "EAM @SushmaSwaraj calls on Prime Minister
of Italy Paolo Gentiloni in New Delhi. Engaging discussion on issues of mutual
interest," Mr Kumar tweeted. The visiting dignitary later went to
Hyderabad House for a delegation level talk with Prime Minister Narendra Modi
and others. "Strengthening and reinvigorating our bilateral relationship.
