BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 28: A function
was organized today by Animal Husbandry Department Bandipora at Trigam
Sumbal during which poultry birds of improved variety were distributed free of
cost among 70 families of the village.
The distribution was conducted as per the instructions of Minister for
Animal Husbandry, Abdul Gani Kohli and MLC Yasir Reshi.
It was said that Trigam village has been adopted as the model poultry
village under cluster mode. The aim is to induce enthusiasm among people to
rear improved variety of poultry birds which would fillip the economy of the
farmers.
The first phase of the distribution was inaugurated by Chief Animal
Husbandry Officer Bandipora, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Shah.
