Oct 26: In the wake of controversy raked up over the Taj Mahal issue,
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday visited the historical
monument in Agra. Accompanied by a few ministers and a large contingent of
officials, the Chief Minister toured the Taj and surveyed the beautiful
mother-of-pearl engravings on the marble structure. Though he was present there
for almost 30 minutes and kept talking to officials apparently to elicit
information regarding the Taj, Mr Adityanath did not initially comment on the
beauty of the monument. However, a senior police officer who was part of heavy
security arrangements, said the CM liked the monument. UNI
