RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 21: District
Administration, Rajouri as a part of extensive scheduled of field camps to
provide services at door steps organized two camps today where more than 700
certificates were issued apart from redressal of public grievances. At 14
different camps in last fortnight 4683 services were provided taking the total
number of certificates issued since June at filed camps to 67,115.
Asstt Commissioner Revenue Abdul Qayoom Mir held the camp at
Kakora in Manjakote while another camp was held by SDM SunderbaniKartar Singh
at Channi village. A total of 4683 services under Public Service Guarante Act
were provided on-spot by revenue officers at various camps held at DharaSanwla,
Ujhan, Baghla by ACR, Dandote and Hubbit by SDM Koteranka Gopal Singh, Hasyote
by SDM Thanamandi Afzal Mirza, Garn and Moghla by SDM Kalakote Khalid Hussain,
DoongiSangpur, Lamberi and Androoth by SDM Nowshera Abdul Sattar and at Upper
Hathal and Bajabain by SDM Sunderbani.
The certificates provided at these 14 camps held during the
month of November, so far include 577 Caste certificates, 1302 Permanent
Resident Certificates, 139 Mutations attested, 365 RBA certificates, 112 ALC
certificates, 498 voter, 521 Revenue extracts, 468 Income certificates, 136
married/unmarried certificates, 211 Aadhar attestations, 42 legal heir and 312
other certificates. Likewise, more than 3000 certificates have been issued by
Medical Officers at various camps in the district.
Deputy Commissioner, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, who launched the
drive in first week of June informed that a record number of more than 67000
certificates have been issued so far in the camps organised by SDMs, Tehsildars
and Block Medical Officers at more than 250 locations across the length and
breadth of district which has been able to provide a major relief to applicants
in terms of eliminating delays and increasing efficiency of service delivery.
Dr Shahid informed that in view of huge public response a major
initiative of joint camps is being started from December 2017 with active
cooperation of local army establishment which will also entail involvement of
Cooperative Societies, NGOs, youth and women organizations apart from
Government departments. People of the district have widely hailed the
widespread camps providing services at doorsteps.
