POONCH, NOVEMBER 21:
Member legislative Assembly Haveli Poonch, Shah Mohammed Tantray today held a
public meeting which was attended by deputations from various Panchyats
including Faitypoor, Sathra,Bainch, Jhalaus, khanetar & others
Deputy Commissioner,
Tariq Ahmad Zargar was present on the occasion.
People projected
various issues related to improving supply of drinking water, road
connectivity, up gradation of High School Jhaluas upto Higher Secondary level.
The delegation
further requested to include deserving Left out families under the ambit of
various welfare schemes.
MLA asked the DC to
take up construction of building of footbridge on Mandi river
connecting several Panchyats of block Sathra on priority .He also called
for up gradation of power infrastructure by installing transformers
ensuring proper power supply, time bound completion of roads and an
early redressal of the other issues projected by the people
Deputy Commissioner
sought feedback from the concerned officers on issues which were raised during
the meeting. He directed the XEN PWD to prepare DPRs of Foot Bridge on
immediate basis and XEN PDD to install transformers on specified areas to
augment power supply .He assured the people that all their issues would be
looked into as early as possible and rest will be projected before the
appropriate authority for an early redressal.
Concerned District officers, Executive Engineers, assistant executive
engineers and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.
