ADC B’pora chairs price fixation meet

BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 22: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Sanai today chaired a joint meeting of concerned officers and representatives of various trade associations to discuss and fix the rates of essential commodities and also to provide better services to the consumers.

The meeting discussed the rates of vegetables, chicken, mutton, cheese, and milk, besides other food item being served in hotelse. Stock and supply position of LPG in the district was also discussed in the meeting.

The ADC impressed upon the concerned departments to intensify market checking in the district to protect consumers from overcharging. He asked the traders to strictly adhere to the rates already fixed by the government.
