KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 16: The
District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a
joint meeting of officers of different departments, financial institutions to
review the progress achieved under the implementation of PMAY, Housing for all
Urban schemes.
The Chief Planning Officer, Kupwara briefed the meeting about the
progress, beneficiaries and financial involvements with the help of executing
agencies.
DDC impressed upon the executive and implementing agencies for removing
all bottlenecks, hurdles and officials procedures by following the guidelines
of the GOI while taking executing works and activities.He passed instruction to
concerned agencies to complete the projects within a stipulated time frame.
The officers of District Urban Development Agency, Municipal Committees,
Revenue, representatives from financial institutions, Housing Board were
present during the deliberations. The MCs were asked to submit their
requisition for allocation from Housing board within next ten days.
