New Delhi, Nov 10: Reacting sharply to the alleged "minority appeasement" of the Telangana government in declaring Urdu as the second official language of the southern state, BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy on Friday gave a clarion call to Hindus to unite and "throw out the KCR regime".
"I appeal to Hindus of Telangana to unite....Next elections forget about being Kamma and Reddy and vote unitedly and throw out him (Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao)," Dr Swamy told a television channel. The senior BJP leader said the TRS chief and the Telangana's decision is motivated by the theory that while Muslims can be led towards to vote as a 'block', the Hindus will continue to remain "divided". "....that is why he is not caring about Hindus," Dr Swamy said. The sharp reactions from the senior BJP leader came within minutes the news went viral that the Telangana government would make Urdu the "the second official language of the state of Telangana".
