Jammu,
Nov 18: National Conference president and Member Parliament Dr Farooq
Abdullah on Saturday said even after four wars with Pakistan, Pakistan-occupied
Kashmir is still with them and he has said nothing wrong.
"PoK is still under control of Pakistan for the last 70 years and I have said nothing wrong," Dr Abdullah said while addressing party workers at party headquarters here."Some people felt frustrated with my PoK remarks but it is not wrong if I say that for the last 70 years it is still with Pak despite the fact that we had fought four wars with them," he said and added that if the Centre wants to take back PoK, who stopped them."NC never said anything over this. Go and get it back if you can," said Dr Abdullah. On submission of complaint against Dr Farooq Abdullah by a Jammu based social activist, Sukesh C Khajuria, he said, "Some people have also dragged me to court, but I am not worried about this and will give the reply in the court too.”"NC never 'Azadi', we never said that we want to go with Pak, NC only demanded autonomy, which is in the Constitution of India, under Article 370 we the people of J&K are the owners of our own state,” said the Member of Parliament.Dr Abdullah also targeted the ruling PDP-BJP and said, "India belongs to each and every Indian."He also asked party workers to remain alert and foil designs of those who want to disturb communal harmony in the state.Targeting the PDP 'on its surrender in front of Centre' over implementation of GST, the NC president said during the time of implementation of GST, the PDP followed the Centre otherwise it speaks of Self Rule.Taking a dig at the PDP-BJP government for not visiting the house of martyr Sohan Lal Bhagat, who attained martyrdom in an IED blast in Manipur recently, Dr Abdullah said, “Not a single minister or official from administration visited his cremation site. Then what is your criteria for a martyr ?”UNI
