NTPC incident is criminal offence of BJP govt: Mayawati

Lucknow, Nov 6: Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) chief Mayawati on Monday lambasted the BJP government at the Centre as well as of the Uttar Pradesh for their criminal offences which led to the big mishap at the NTPC Uchchar unit." The present BJP government in UP was only interested in changing the colour of the government buildings and misusing the funds to politicise the government machinery," she said. " When children and people are dying daily in big numbers at the government hospitals, the BJP government in UP was only interested in the

colour of the government buildings and doing nothing to serve the people for which they have been elected," the BSP president said. "Besides the state ministers are only interested in cheap publicity rather than performing their duties," she further alleged. In a statement here, Ms Mayawati, though late, expressed her condolence on the death of over 32 people in the NTPC mishap and held the BJP government, Both of the Centre as well of of UP for the accident. " The governments have turned insensitive and now in the eyes of these BJP leaders. the value of human being has turned less than even animals. The incident of NTPC was a criminal offence of the Centre," she alleged.
