President, First Lady seek goddess Kamakhya's blessings

Guwahati, Nov 21: President Ram Nath Kovind today paid obeisance at the Shaktipeeth Kamakhya temple atop Nilachal hills in Guwahati. 

Accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind, the President reached the temple around 0945 hours and spent nearly 45 minutes in the temple premises. The First Couple participated in different rituals inside the temple. They left for Manipur after visiting the temple, winding up the Assam leg of the President's North East tour. The President and his wife spent the night at the Raj Bhawan here after attending a civic reception hosted by Guwahati University in their honour. UNI
