JAMMU, NOVEMBER 16: In order
to help jail inmates develop life skills for their reformation and
rehabilitation in side prison and post their release from prison, the District
Jail Kishtwar has organised a five day training programme in Nursery
Development for the inmates.
The Training programme that began on November 14, is being organized
through Department of floriculture.
During the programme inmates are being taught and trained regarding
making of flower beds, pruning and cutting, watering, seeding, lawn
maintenance, organic fertilizer making, making of bags for nursery, besides imparting
knowledge regarding different plants and their cycle.
The training programme well help jail inmates develop skills in this
field which will help in keeping them busy in productive work, besides helping
in their reformation and rehabilitation in side prison and post their release
from prison.
The programme is being organised under the supervision of Superintendent
District Jail Kishtwar Mushtaq Ahmad Malla.
