BANDIPORA,
DECEMBER 23: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sanai
along with a team of officers today visited Reshi Mohalla Laharwalpora area of
Bandipora to assess problems being faced by people there and resolve them
accordingly.
The ADC fixed
timelines to resolve public issues and issued necessary directions to the
concerned officers regarding the same.
Regarding
augmentation of pipeline up to the local middle school Reshipora, the ADC
directed for laying of 50 pipes by the middle of next month, while as filling
work of the water lodged school ground will also be taken soon.
A public durbar was
also held at the school during which the public representatives put forth their
demand for immediate repairs of the inner road leading from Watapora to
Laharwalpora.
Taking cognizance of
the public grievance, it was decided that the Rural Development Department will
improve the surface of the said road till R&B Department completes its
formalities.
Demands regarding
improved medicare facilities and sanction for a separate food store for Reshi
Mohalla were also raised. The ADC assured the people that their genuine demands would
be taken up with the concerned authorities for early fulfilment.
