Kohima, Dec 16: Even after reconciliation between two groups of Naga Peoples Front (NPF) party, Nagaland Chief Minister T R
Zeliang last night dropped two more Ministers from his Cabinet.
With this a total of six ministers have so far been dropped
from the T R Zeliang Ministry.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Secretariat Pankaj Kumar informed late last night that the two Ministers in the T R Zeliang Ministry are Geology & Mining and Border Affairs Minister Mmhonlumo Kikon and Rural Development Minister E. E. Panteang.
The list of Ministers dropped since the recent “reconciliation” in the NPF rose to six with Education Minister Tokheho Yepthomi, Home Minister Y.
Patton, Roads & Bridges Minister Dr. Nicky Kire and Environment, Forests & Climate Change Minister Neiba Kronu relieved of their duties on December 13.
Meanwhile, political parleys are on in lobbies in the NPF legislators; however, the legislators are tight-lipped on the issue and the political situation is very fluid. UNI
