Nitish congratulates PM on BJP`s victory in Gujarat and HP elections

Patna, Dec 18: Bihar Chief Minister and JD (U) president Nitish Kumar today congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP for victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections..

Taking to his official Twitter to greet Mr Modi and BJP on the party`s victory in both the states, Mr Kumar said, “Greetings to honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP for victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections. Congress, which was claiming victory in Gujarat lost even Himachal Pradesh”. Mr Kumar had already predicted a comfortable victory for the BJP in Gujarat Assembly polls.
He had said that he did not consider any threat to the BJP in the Gujarat assembly election.
“Will the people of the state vote against the party when they have their own prime minister? We should take these sentiments into account,” he had remarked. UNI
