President, PM greet Atal on his 93rd b'day

New Delhi, Dec 25: President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders wished former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 93rd birthday on Monday.

In a tweet, the President said, "Birthday wishes to our much-loved and respected former Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee."
Mr Naidu said, "Convey my heartfelt greetings to Bharat Ratna, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, on his birthday, today.'
The Prime Minister also extended wishes to the BJP veteran.
Mr Modi said his phenomenal and visionary leadership made India more developed and further raised its prestige at the world stage. The Prime Minister prayed for his good health.
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman wished the former Prime Minister well. In a tweet said, "Birthday greetings to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a very inspiring and a much-admired leader. My prayers for his better & improved health."
Mr Vajpayee's birthday is being celebrated as Good Governance Day across the country. Good Governance Day was started in 2014 to honor Mr Vajpayee by fostering awareness among people of accountability in government. 
On December 23, 2014, Mr Vajpayee and Pt Madan Mohan Malaviya (posthumously) were honoured with Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award. UNI
