Sensex breaches 34K level to 34,005 in opening trade

Mumbai, Dec 26: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday breached 34K level to 34,005 points up by 65 points as brisk buying was seen in almost all the sectoral indices.

The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too moved up by 22 points to 10,515.10.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,005.37 and 33,909.56 respectvely.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,515.10 and 10,480.15 respectively. 
The sectoral indices like that gained were Materials, Industrials and Auto pushed the market up in early trade.
The gainers were Dr Rerddy's Lab by 0.90 pc to Rs 2354, ONGC by 0.72 pc to Rs 194.80, Tata Steel by 0.72 pc to Rs 715.70, Asian Paints by 0.66 pc to Rs 1144.
The losers were M & M by 0.84 pc to Rs 739.75, NTPC by 0.70 pc to Rs 178.40, Coal India by 0.71 pc to Rs 264.10 and Infosy by 0.70 pc to Rs 1031.30. UNI
