Shahjahanpur, Jan 9: Four persons including a 5-year-old boy were killed when a state transport bus collided with a car in Khutar area here, police said on Tuesday.
Additional superintendent of police (Rural) Subhash Shakya here said that a bus of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) collided with a car due poor visibility over dense fog in Khutar area near Chamra Bojhi village on Monday night. Car occupant Dharmendra (30) his 5-year-old son Giridhar and Sant Kumar (40) died on the spot, while Guddu received severe injuries, he said adding that Guddu succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. All the deceased hailed from Rautapur Kala village and was going to Lakshmipur to attend a function. Police also added that the bus driver and conductor fled after the spot after the incident. UNI
